What is a Talent Community for the Greater London Authorities (GLA) Collaboration?

The GLA Talent Community is a protected database that you have registered to join, as you highlighted you are keen to work for specific organisations withing the GLA Collaboration. You will receive regular communication from us with insights and news in relation to those organisations and your profile will be updated to highlight your specific skills and the organisations you wish to work for. You will get first sight of all new roles available with your opted for organisations within the GLA Collaboration.

By joining the GLA Talent Community, who can I express interest in working for?

By joining the Talent Community, you can highlight your interest in suitable roles with:

  • London Fire Brigade (LFB),
  • Transport for London (TfL),
  • Metropolitan Police (MET)
  • Counter Terrorism Police (CTP)
  • London Legacy Development Corporation (LLDC)

How do I join the GLA Collaboration Talent Community?

There are a number of routes to join the GLA Collaboration Talent Community. Please see the options below:

  • As an existing interim worker with the GLA Collaboration you can express interest in joining the Talent Community.
  • You can be referred to the GLA Collaboration website by a manager at one of the GLA organisations, in-order for you to register for future opportunities
  • Via the GLA Collaboration organisations specific websites. Please navigate to the recruitment section of their websites.
  • Attending Reed Talent Solutions Talent Events, across London. You will be provided with the relevant links and information to register to the GLA Collaboration Talent Community

What is the registration process?

  • Completing the registration form via the link. You will confirm the organisations you are interested in working for across the GLA Collaboration, your areas of expertise and you also will need to attach your CV
  • Our Talent team will follow up your registration with a call to walk through your experience in more detail and ensure your profile has been updated to reflect your skills, your future requirements and the organisations you are interested in working for
  • You will be asked to provide copies of documentation such as your Entitlement to Work following on from your call with our talent team

How will I hear about suitable roles and how do I apply?

You will be notified of a suitable role in one of two ways, by our Talent team or a system notification. This could be via email or a call. If you are interested in the role and your skills and experience are a match you will be submitted to the role and the recruitment process will commence.

Will I be contacted regularly?

You will receive targeted communications over email, regarding updates about the GLA Collaboration and the specific organisations you have expressed interest to work in. You will also receive information regarding new roles to consider applying for.
